What is Fill the Pot Ministry? Great question! We’re glad you asked.
Utah, we are proud because we do it better with you.
At Fill the Pot Ministry, we meet the needs of our unsheltered neighbors with dignity and compassion. We provide meals, warm clothing, hygiene kits, and compassionate companionship, believing small acts of kindness build stronger neighborhoods. Our volunteers come from many walks of life, united by a simple purpose: to serve our community with respect, consistency, and heart.
Why it matters
Restores dignity: A warm meal or clean pair of underwear and pants can remind someone they are seen and valued.
Builds connection: Regular presence fosters trust and opens doors to long-term support.
Strengthens community: When neighbors care for neighbors, our shared spaces become safer and more welcoming.
How we serve
Daily outreach in downtown Salt Lake City, offering food, clothing, and hygiene supplies.
Seasonal drives for winter gear and warmth to protect against harsh mountain weather.
Partnerships with local organizations to connect people with housing, health care, and recovery resources.
Volunteer opportunities that welcome anyone willing to give time, skills, or donations.
Get involved
Volunteer: Join outreach teams, help sort donations, or serve at events.
Donate: Contributions fund meals, supplies, and a dwelling
Advocate: Share our mission with friends and neighbors to build a broader network of care.
Together we can keep the Great Valley beautiful — not just in landscape, but in spirit. Every act of service seasonings our community with hope, respect, and belonging.
Fill our pots, fill their hearts.
